The 8th Annual Excellence in Education Banquet has been scheduled for April 12, 2012. The banquet will be held in the Neosho High School Cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale soon.

Excellence In Education Banquet
The Excellence In Education Banquet gives the community a chance to give back to the students and staff in their school district. Each spring the Neosho Charitable Foundation hosts a dinner to recognize outstanding programs, distinguished alumni, and distinguished educators chosen by the foundation board. The recognized organization is awarded $500.00.

$40.00 each
$320 for a table for 8
$500 for premium table for 8
1) Nominations can be submitted by any member of the Neosho R-5 Charitable Foundation Board or by any member of the Neosho R-5 administration.
2) The deadline for submitting nominations shall be December 17th.
3) The Neosho R-5 Charitable Foundation Board will elect or appoint a committee to review, research, and study nominations. The committee will be charged with selecting the best nominee and bringing that nominee back to the full board by January 31st for approval by the board.
4) The Nominee must be a group, club, organization, team or individual within the Neosho R-5 district that has exhibited outstanding leadership or performance that would qualify them to be a worthy recipient of the Excellence in Education Award.
5) Criteria for selecting the winner of the Award shall include but not be limited to:
a. Number of students involved or impacted
b. local, state, or national recognition
c. community involvement
d. level of performance both past and present
e. other awards and recognitions
6) Past winners of the Award shall not be eligible for nomination for at least 4 years.
